Céline Dion’s Former Jupiter Mansion Sells for $12.5 Million in a Private Waterfront Deal

A Mediterranean-style estate built for global music icon Céline Dion has changed hands in one of Jupiter, Florida’s notable luxury property transactions of 2026. Located at 370 Eagle Drive inside the exclusive Admirals Cove community, the expansive waterfront residence sold for $12.5 million in an off-market deal, bringing a new chapter to a property whose history is closely connected to one of the world’s most recognizable voices.

Completed in 1998 for Dion and her late husband, René Angélil, the mansion combines grand Mediterranean-inspired architecture, elaborate interiors and a private connection to South Florida’s boating lifestyle. With 14,749 square feet of living area, eight bedrooms and a private dock, the estate represents a distinctive segment of the Jupiter luxury real estate market, where substantial waterfront properties remain closely tied to the appeal of private club communities.

A Jupiter Estate Built for Céline Dion

The story of 370 Eagle Drive began in November 1996, when Dion and Angélil acquired the approximately 0.65-acre homesite in Admirals Cove. Rather than purchasing an existing residence, the couple commissioned a custom home that was completed two years later.

Dion worked with Palm Beach builder Dan Swanson of Addison Development Group on the design. The resulting property reflects a richly detailed interpretation of Mediterranean architecture, with dramatic proportions, decorative finishes and formal entertaining spaces. According to the listing agent, many of the original design elements selected during the construction process remain part of the residence.

The house became part of the couple’s family life during Dion’s international career. The singer and Angélil lived at the property until December 2002, when they sold it for $9 million to Richard Santulli, founder of NetJets, and his wife, Margaret.

The celebrity connection is more than a footnote in the property’s history. It gives the estate a distinct identity within Admirals Cove, where many large waterfront residences compete on architecture, location and amenities. Its association with Dion, together with the fact that it was custom-built for the singer, distinguishes 370 Eagle Drive from a conventional luxury home offering.

Mediterranean Architecture and Elaborate Interiors

Inside, the mansion presents an extensive collection of architectural details that reflect the design preferences of its original owners. A domed stained-glass skylight crowns the main living space, while intricate moldings, hand-painted walls and a combination of marble and wood flooring contribute to the home’s formal character.

Multiple fireplaces provide focal points throughout the interior. The primary suite is particularly generous, featuring a stone fireplace, a substantial sitting area and direct access to a terrace. Its bathroom includes a sculptural stone bathtub, reinforcing the private retreat atmosphere of the principal living quarters.

The residence also includes a dedicated home office and a wine cellar, extending its appeal beyond its formal entertaining rooms. For a property of this scale, these spaces provide a balance between the ceremonial character of the architecture and the practical requirements of everyday living.

One of the most memorable interiors is the private movie theater. Designed with deep red velvet seating, a coffered ceiling and a crystal chandelier, the room evokes the atmosphere of a traditional cinema. The theater also features a performance stage, an unusual detail that feels particularly appropriate in a residence created for a world-renowned recording artist.

With eight bedrooms and a total of 11 bathrooms, including eight full bathrooms and three half bathrooms, the estate offers substantial accommodation for family and guests. Its 14,749 square feet of living area place it among the larger residential properties in the Admirals Cove community.

Waterfront Living With a Private Dock

The outdoor environment is an essential part of the property’s appeal. Set on approximately 0.65 acres, the grounds are organized around landscaped gardens, a resort-style swimming pool and a waterfront entertaining area.

A covered patio with an outdoor kitchen creates a natural setting for dining and social gatherings. The pool and hot tub overlook the water, while a private dock gives the residence a direct connection to the navigable waterways surrounding Admirals Cove.

The property’s waterfront position is especially relevant to buyers who value boating as part of their daily lifestyle. The community’s waterways connect with the Intracoastal Waterway and provide access toward the Jupiter Inlet and the Atlantic Ocean. The listing agent has described the dock as offering ocean access without fixed bridges along the route.

For a luxury buyer, that combination of private outdoor space and boating convenience can be as significant as the interior square footage. It places the home within a category of South Florida real estate where the relationship between the residence, its dock and the wider waterway network is a central part of its value proposition.

Admirals Cove and the Appeal of Resort-Style Living

The estate is located within Admirals Cove, a gated golf and yachting community in Jupiter known for its extensive club facilities and waterfront setting. Its appeal extends well beyond private residential security, with a lifestyle built around golf, boating, wellness, dining and family activities.

The Club at Admirals Cove offers 45 holes of golf, tennis and pickleball facilities, a private marina, multiple dining venues, fitness facilities and a wellness center. The marina accommodates vessels up to 165 feet, while a private boutique hotel provides accommodation for members and their guests.

The community’s layout also supports a golf-cart-oriented lifestyle, allowing residents to move between homes and club facilities without relying on a car for every journey. That convenience was an important consideration for the buyer in the latest transaction.

Willie Abreu of The Nicolas Group at SERHANT, who represented the purchaser, described the community as a major attraction. “My buyer is huge into golf and has kids, so he loves that the community is gated, and he’s able to get everywhere on a golf cart,” Abreu told Mansion Global. He added that the amenities make the neighborhood feel like resort living.

For the buyer, investor Myron Miller, the property’s waterfront position and private dock were additional attractions. The combination of boating access, family-oriented facilities and an established private club environment helps explain why Admirals Cove continues to draw interest from buyers seeking more than a large residence.

From a $20 Million Asking Price to a $12.5 Million Sale

The latest transaction also provides an interesting snapshot of pricing at the upper end of the Jupiter luxury real estate market.

The seller was an LLC associated with Edward St. John, founder and chairman of Baltimore-based St. John Properties. The entity acquired the estate in June 2021 for $7.6 million, according to property records cited in published reports.

In May 2026, the residence was brought to market with an asking price of $20 million. The listing was subsequently removed in August, and the property ultimately changed hands through a private transaction rather than a publicly marketed sale.

Rob Thomson of Waterfront Properties & Club Communities represented the seller, while Willie Abreu represented Miller. Thomson confirmed that the transaction closed on October 22, 2026, for $12.5 million. Public MLS records show a closing date of October 23, 2026.

The final price was $7.5 million below the property’s earlier asking price. That difference should be understood as the gap between the original public asking price and the eventual off-market transaction, rather than as evidence of a publicly recorded price reduction to the final sale figure.

The sale also continues a long ownership history. After Dion and Angélil sold the home in 2002, Richard Santulli and his wife owned the property before it changed hands again in 2017 and 2021. Its latest sale marks another significant transfer for an estate that has remained one of Admirals Cove’s recognizable addresses.

A Distinctive Chapter in Jupiter Luxury Real Estate

At 370 Eagle Drive, the appeal lies in the combination of architectural scale, celebrity provenance and waterfront access. The mansion was conceived for a specific owner, shaped by a distinctive design vision and positioned within a community whose amenities are central to its identity.

Its $12.5 million sale demonstrates the continued market for substantial waterfront estates in Jupiter, particularly those offering private docks and access to established club facilities. Yet the property’s story extends beyond its transaction price. From its construction for Céline Dion and René Angélil to its latest off-market sale, the residence has maintained a recognizable place in the history of Admirals Cove.
