Chuck Close’s old residence in Manhattan is being listed for $8 million.

Renowned artist and photographer Chuck Close resided and worked on Bond Street in Manhattan for many years until his passing in 2021 at the age of 81. Now, his former apartment in Noho is hitting the market for just under $8 million. Soon to be listed by Emily Beare of Core NYC, this 2,478-square-foot loft occupies the entire ninth floor of the Deborah Berke-designed building at 48 Bond Street. Berke, the founder of TenBerke, is renowned for her work at The New School College of Performing Arts and Yale University School of Art.
