Nick and Vanessa Lachey, the popular hosts of Netflix’s hit show Love Is Blind, have made headlines once again in the California luxury property market. The couple has reacquired a Tarzana estate they previously owned and sold to tennis superstar Naomi Osaka, this time paying just under $8 million. The purchase marks nearly $3 million more than what they originally spent for the same home in 2020, highlighting the dynamic rise of Tarzana Real Estate.

From Randall Cobb to Naomi Osaka and Back to the Lacheys
The story of this Tarzana home reflects the fast-moving cycle of California homes for sale. The Lacheys first bought the property from NFL wide receiver Randall Cobb in late 2020 for just over $5 million. Less than two years later, they flipped it for $6.3 million in an off-market deal with Naomi Osaka.

During her ownership, Osaka invested in upgrades, adding a new structure that included a gym and a recovery center. She listed the estate in June for $8.3 million, ultimately selling it back to the Lacheys for slightly under $8 million. Amy Snider of Compass represented Osaka, while Mauricio Umansky and Craig Knizek of The Agency represented the Lacheys.

A Modern Estate with Timeless Appeal
Built in 2014, the East Coast-inspired residence sits behind a double-gated driveway on more than half an acre at the end of a cul-de-sac. The property boasts a four-car garage plus additional parking for up to 20 vehicles, making it ideal for entertaining and family living.

Inside, the two-story estate spans approximately 7,000 square feet, with five bedrooms and nine bathrooms. The interiors feature rich dark hardwood floors, high ceilings, and walls of glass that frame sweeping views of the San Fernando Valley and nearby mountains.

Highlights include an expansive kitchen with dual islands, a breakfast nook, and premium stainless steel appliances. A coffered-ceiling family room flows seamlessly through pocketing doors to a covered loggia, while a formal dining room adds character with wainscoting and patterned wallpaper.

Luxury Living Spaces Designed for Comfort
The upstairs primary suite features a fireplace, a private balcony with mountain vistas, dual walk-in closets, and a spa-like bathroom. Other amenities include a media lounge, a wet bar-equipped game room, and versatile spaces designed for both relaxation and entertaining.

Osaka’s additions to the property enhanced its appeal, with a modern gym illuminated by neon motivational quotes. The backyard completes the resort-style living experience, offering a pool and spa, barbecue station, fire pit, and a sunken sports court—perfect for both family enjoyment and hosting guests.

The Lacheys’ Active Real Estate Moves
This Tarzana purchase isn’t the couple’s only high-profile real estate move. Their Encino farmhouse, bought just last year for $6.8 million, is currently listed for $7.5 million. They also owned a beachfront home in Hawaii near Kahala Beach, purchased for $8.8 million in 2022, shortly after Vanessa was cast in NCIS: Hawaiʻi. That home sold last summer for nearly $9.5 million following the show’s cancellation.

Market observers note that Tarzana homes for sale continue to attract both celebrities and global buyers thanks to privacy, large lots, and proximity to Los Angeles’ entertainment hubs. The Lacheys’ decision to buy back this property demonstrates both personal nostalgia and confidence in the long-term strength of Tarzana Real Estate.
