Much like his former Tampa Bay Buccaneers teammate Tom Brady, who has been exploring various business ventures since retiring, Ryan Jensen—known as the “Red Tornado” for his role as center—has been busy off the field. The recently retired NFL star is now venturing into residential development and is nearing completion of a 20,000-square-foot home in Colorado, his home state. Consequently, Jensen no longer needs his South Florida residence and has listed it for $3.2 million.

Jensen, who co-owns the Tampa-based design/build firm Gilk, purchased the newly built home in Tampa’s upscale Davis Islands community for just over $1.5 million in 2018, shortly after signing a four-year, $42 million contract with the Buccaneers. Now, six years later, the property has reappeared on the market with a listing held by Eric Dungy and Jon Fincher of Compass.

The residence, spanning just under a quarter-acre, was completed by Javic Homes and features a blend of stucco and wood siding. It offers 4,500 square feet of living space with five bedrooms and five bathrooms. Inside, you’ll find dark hardwood floors, high ceilings, and a spacious great room with French doors leading to a covered outdoor dining terrace with a built-in barbecue.

The gourmet kitchen includes an eat-in island, top-tier stainless appliances, and a large walk-in pantry. The main level also boasts a formal dining room, a large bonus room currently used as a TV room, and an en-suite guest bedroom.

Upstairs, the landing area serves as a lounge, while the primary suite features two walk-in closets and a spa-like bath with dual vanities, a soaking tub, and a separate shower. Outdoors, the screen-enclosed backyard includes a pool with a raised spa and a fire pit. An attached three-car garage with an EV charger completes the property, and a golf cart is included in the sale for a touch of “Super Bowl champ style.”

Jensen retired from the NFL in February after 11 years, primarily due to a knee injury that sidelined him for most of the last two seasons. Originally drafted by the Baltimore Ravens in 2013, he later joined the Buccaneers, where he contributed to the team’s second Super Bowl win in 2021. Reflecting on his career, Jensen expressed pride and excitement for the new chapter ahead.
