Kogan amassed his fortune as the co-owner of Moscow’s Domodedovo Airport. His elaborate abode in the coastal town of Caesarea, offering sweeping views of the Mediterranean Sea, has recently been listed on the market for a staggering $258,318,757.

This enormous property was purchased by Kogan, an enigmatic figure who has never granted an interview throughout his 25-year business career, back in 2013. Reportedly, he invested a massive $100 million (£74.7 million) in transforming it into Israel’s most luxurious property.

With the mansion now on the market for $258,318,757, Kogan stands to make a substantial profit exceeding $158 million.

Valery Kogan, a prominent Russian businessman, held the position as Russia’s 41st richest individual in 2014, boasting a substantial net worth of £2 billion.

In 2017, Kogan made headlines when he enlisted the talents of music icons Sir Elton John and Mariah Carey to perform at his granddaughter’s wedding. The event garnered attention as Mariah Carey was photographed alongside Kogan’s granddaughter Irene, adding a touch of celebrity glamour to the occasion.

Elton John, renowned for his high-profile performances, reportedly commanded a fee of no less than £1 million. He commenced the extravagant wedding festivities by delivering a mesmerizing 12-song set, setting the tone for the lavish celebration.

In a display of extravagance, Kogan’s granddaughter Irene shared a kiss with her husband before Sir Elton John took the stage. The renowned performer, who reportedly commands a fee of £1 million per private function performance, treated guests to a captivating set of 12 songs.

The home, constructed in 1924, is described as a sprawling 25,400-square-foot mega-mansion set on a seven-acre lot. Concealed beyond a front gate reminiscent of the iconic opening scene of Citizen Kane, the whimsical and eclectic architecture features a large dome and fairy-tale turrets, with the interior adorned in historic wood imported from Flanders.

In 2009, there were reports that Olga, presumably a family member or associate, abandoned plans to demolish the mansion and build an even larger one due to planning disputes with neighbors and local authorities.

It seems that Kogan’s children have followed in their father’s footsteps, as his son Alexander, 36, reputedly owns one of the most expensive mansions on Indian Creek Island in Miami, dubbed the “billionaire’s bunker.” Alexander, a Russian pop star born in Tajikistan but educated in New York, is one of Kogan’s two children. His daughter Darina Lozovsky pursues a career as a glamorous jet-setting banker.

Interestingly, it was revealed in 2017 that Irene, Darina’s daughter, orchestrated her extravagant wedding to Daniel Kenvey as a form of revenge against an ex-boyfriend. In a video posted on Instagram, Irene candidly confessed her motives, stating, “I only got married to p*** off my ex-boyfriend who I’m now back with. Everything works out well.”

The bride, as depicted in the image, adorned herself in a gown crafted by one of Britain’s most prestigious fashion labels, Ralph & Russo. Notably, this esteemed brand was responsible for creating Cheryl Cole’s iconic black wedding gown.
