David and Victoria Beckham are reportedly set to purchase an $80 million mansion in Miami Beach, as confirmed by the architecture firm behind its design. The sale is currently pending contract.
This nine-bedroom residence on North Bay Road is the latest and priciest addition to the couple’s global real estate portfolio, which includes a £31.5 million Victorian townhouse in London, a condo in the Burj Khalifa in Dubai, and a penthouse in the One Thousand Museum tower in Miami. Previously sold for $10 million in 2018 to Hamptons-based developer Niklas de la Motte, the property was extensively rebuilt by Choeff Levy Fischman Architecture and Design into a 14,270-square-foot, two-story home, which was listed in 2022 for eight times its purchase price.
The Beckhams did not immediately respond to requests for comment. The property features a pool with a waterfall at the entryway and a central courtyard pool that reflects the towering structure, taking advantage of its 124 feet of water frontage.
Notably, it includes a razor-edge infinity pool that seamlessly integrates with the bay. The design incorporates Ipe wood, perlato marble, dark bronze frames, and metal accents to create a modern, tropical ambiance. According to Raphael Levy, a principal at Choeff Levy Fischman, the reflecting ponds make the entire house appear to float, allowing water to flow through the house and into the pool deck, extending to the bay.
Three of the bedrooms, including the primary suite, boast views of Biscayne Bay, while most rooms overlook the surrounding ponds. The interior features a gym, spa, chef’s kitchen, and a movie theater. A rooftop deck, outdoor dining area, and kitchen, along with floor-to-ceiling windows, enhance the indoor-outdoor connection, with sabal palm trees providing privacy.
Located just a drive away from the stadium where David Beckham’s team, Inter Miami FC, plays, the property further anchors the couple in South Florida. The mansion stands out in the affluent Nautilus neighborhood, where average home prices are around $3.4 million, according to Redfin.
Listing agent Dora Puig of Luxe Living Realty declined to comment on the property.
