The ‘Banksy of Floral Design’ is putting his West Palm Beach bungalow on the market for $2.9 million

Lewis Miller, a New York-based florist renowned for his vibrant, high-energy floral designs, has listed his West Palm Beach home for $2.9 million. Known as the “Banksy of floral design,” Miller is famous for his Flower Flash installations, which transform everyday public objects into stunning floral art.

Miller’s West Palm Beach property, located at 333 Pilgrim Road in the chic SoSo neighborhood, is a Spanish Mediterranean bungalow built in 1926. The home is being sold fully furnished, including all its unique antiques and charming decor. Despite Miller’s floral expertise, the home features an abundance of leafy greenery and bird motifs rather than floral arrangements. “I wanted it to reflect Florida and Palm Beach without being clichéd,” Miller explained to Palm Beach Illustrated. “The colors are unconventional, with greens and tobacco, aiming for a masculine, Ernest Hemingway style. I incorporate birds in every room to evoke an English country feel while keeping it true to Palm Beach without the usual pink and green.”

Miller purchased the property sight unseen in September 2021 and undertook a significant renovation. “The proportions were great, and the overall vibe was just right,” he told the New York Post. “I was lucky with the timing; properties were being snapped up quickly or priced beyond reach, and I enjoy a good project.” The residence includes a three-bedroom main house and a separate guesthouse with additional bedrooms. The home retains period features like a curved staircase, intricately carved archways, and original Spanish cement tiles, complemented by Miller’s custom touches such as hand-painted wood flooring and shimmering emerald green tiles in the kitchen.

Outside, the property features a small grassy yard and a two-story carriage house with two self-contained apartments, each with living rooms, kitchens, and full baths. Despite his extensive renovations and personal touches, Miller is moving on from the West Palm Beach property after just three years. “As much as I tried to move to Florida, I can’t leave New York,” he told The Post. “I don’t need a house and the extra work and chaos. Maybe later. I’ll probably rent for a while.”
