A five-bedroom Georgian Colonial home once owned by Taylor Swift’s family has officially gone into contract after a recent price reduction, according to listing records.
The Reading, Pennsylvania property was most recently asking $999,900, down from its original $1.099 million listing price when it hit the market in February.

A 1929 Georgian Colonial With Classic Architecture
Built in 1929, the residence spans 3,560 square feet and sits on a 0.75-acre lot, offering a blend of historic character and modern comfort. The home features five bedrooms, a two-car garage, and a backyard swimming pool, making it one of the more substantial residential properties in the area.

Interior listing photos highlight a formal dining room, a spacious entry foyer, and fireplaces in both the living room and den. A large open kitchen flows into a breakfast area, with double doors opening to the backyard, reinforcing the home’s traditional yet livable layout.

Old-World Charm Meets Modern Updates
“The property is a unique combination of old-world charm with modern updates and amenities,” said Eric P. Miller of The Eric Miller Team at RE/MAX of Reading, who represented the sellers. “It stays true to the Georgian Colonial style while offering architectural elegance, particularly at the rear of the home.”

Outdoor amenities include a heated swimming pool and hot tub, set within a stone-paver patio, along with a fenced garden and covered terrace, according to the listing.

A Home Tied to Taylor Swift’s Early Years
Taylor Swift lived in Pennsylvania with her family before relocating to Nashville at age 14 to pursue her music career. The pop star spent part of her childhood on a Christmas tree farm in the state before the family later moved to the Reading-area home in the late 1990s.

While the identities of the buyer and seller were not disclosed, public records show the property last sold in 2013 for $799,500.

Now one of the world’s most successful recording artists, Swift reportedly owns a global real estate portfolio valued at roughly $80 million, including luxury properties in Rhode Island, New York City, and Nashville.
