Johnson, a Waco, Texas native, was the 15th overall pick in the 2005 NFL Draft by the Kansas City Chiefs. He earned four Pro Bowl selections, two All-Pro picks, and was named Pro Bowl Defensive MVP during his 13-season career. After a brief stint with the Oakland Raiders, he signed a one-day ceremonial contract to retire with the Chiefs in 2019 as the franchise’s all-time leading tackler.
