Nick and Vanessa Lachey Upgrade to a Stunning $6.8M Modern Farmhouse in SoCal

Nick and Vanessa Lachey have made a glamorous move from Hawaii to Southern California, securing a breathtaking modern farmhouse in Encino for $6.8 million. The “Love Is Blind” hosts are leaving behind their opulent Honolulu mansion, now on the market for $9.8 million, to settle into a new chapter in Los Angeles.

A Swift Transition from Island Paradise to Urban Luxury

After purchasing their Hawaiian home for $8.8 million in 2021 when Vanessa joined the cast of CBS’s “NCIS: Hawaiʻi,” the couple quickly embraced island life. Vanessa shared their excitement in a 2022 Travel + Leisure interview, revealing their plans for frequent trips between Hawaii and L.A. However, the abrupt cancellation of the show in April 2023 led the Lacheys to rethink their living arrangements.

The Lavish Encino Estate: A Modern Farmhouse Dream

Built in 2023, the Lacheys’ new home in Encino is an epitome of modern luxury, nestled on nearly half an acre in a secluded cul-de-sac. This 8,300-square-foot residence boasts six bedrooms, nine bathrooms, and an array of top-tier amenities. A double-gated circular driveway and attached three-car garage ensure privacy and convenience, while a sports court adds a touch of athletic flair.

Inside, the home exudes elegance with white oak floors, high ceilings, and designer lighting throughout. A striking pivot door welcomes guests into a foyer that seamlessly flows into a fireside living room. The main level also features an en-suite guest bedroom and a converted office space.

Entertainment and Comfort: The Heart of the Home

The centerpiece of the house is an expansive great room with a formal dining area and a family room highlighted by a linear marble fireplace. Pocketing glass doors open to a covered terrace complete with a barbecue station, perfect for indoor-outdoor living. The gourmet kitchen is a chef’s paradise, featuring stone countertops, a large eat-in island, top-of-the-line Thermador appliances, and a butler’s pantry.

The lower level is designed for entertainment, boasting a movie theater, a gym, a recreation room, a seated bar with a glass-encased wine wall, and a secure safe room. The upstairs primary suite is a sanctuary, complete with a fireplace, dual designer showroom closets, and a luxurious marble bath with dual vanities, a makeup counter, a soaking tub, and a steam shower.

Outdoor Oasis: Pool, Spa, and Cabana

The meticulously landscaped backyard is a true oasis, featuring a pool with a Baja shelf, a spa, and a fire pit conversation area. A stylish cabana provides a shaded retreat, ideal for relaxation and entertaining guests.

A Storied Past and a Bright Future

Nick, 50, and Vanessa, 43, met in the early 2000s during their respective careers as a member of the boy band 98 Degrees and an MTV veejay. They married in 2011 and have three children. The duo has become a dynamic hosting team for Netflix’s hit reality shows “Love Is Blind” and “The Ultimatum,” with Nick also hosting “Perfect Match.”

Before their move to Hawaii, the couple sold their L.A.-area home to tennis superstar Naomi Osaka for $6.3 million, marking another notable real estate transaction.

The Encino listing was managed by Danielle Peretz and Oran Peretz of The Beverly Hills Estates, while Craig Knizek of The Agency represented the Lacheys in their purchase.
