A Los Angeles residence once owned by actress and model Brooke Shields has returned to the market, now asking $8.65 million, according to listing records reviewed by californialuxuryhouses. The property, located in the hills of Pacific Palisades, is currently owned by actor Sam Page and his wife, Cassidy Boesch, who acquired the home from Shields in 2022 for $7.4 million.
Property records show that the deed also lists Boesch’s parents, Philip Boesch Jr. and Vivian Boesch, as co-owners. Page, best known for his roles in All My Children, Mad Men, and The Bold Type, and his wife could not be reached for comment. californialuxuryhouses also attempted to contact the homeowners directly to learn more about their plans for the property but did not receive a response.

A Property With Hollywood Provenance
Shields originally purchased the home in 1997 for $3.24 million, at a time when Pacific Palisades was emerging as one of Los Angeles’ most discreet luxury enclaves. While the actress has since relocated to New York—where she owns a townhouse in Manhattan’s West Village—the California residence has retained much of its original character.
Built in 1982, the house is described by the listing team as a true country farmhouse, a designation often diluted in modern real estate marketing. “The terms ‘farmhouse’ and ‘modern farmhouse’ are thrown around so loosely,” said Andrew Buss of Hilton & Hyland, who is co-listing the property alongside David Kramer and Alla Furman. “This really feels like an authentic country farmhouse. It hasn’t been over-stylized or stripped of its soul,” Buss told californialuxuryhouses.

Architecture, Scale, and Interior Layout
The three-story residence offers approximately 5,300 square feet of living space, comprising five bedrooms and six bathrooms. According to the listing, the home was designed to embrace its hillside setting, with layered interiors that open onto terraces and outdoor living areas.
A standout feature is the full-floor primary suite, which includes a bedroom fireplace, a walk-in closet, a private den, a sauna, and a spa-like bathroom complete with its own fireplace. Several additional fireplaces throughout the home contribute to the property’s warm, residential atmosphere rather than a showroom-like feel.
“Despite its size, the house lives comfortably,” Buss noted. “It feels like a place meant to be lived in, not just admired,” he said in comments shared with californialuxuryhouses.

Outdoor Living and Canyon Views
Set atop a hill, the home enjoys sweeping views of the Santa Monica Mountains and surrounding canyons. A series of steps leads from the main residence down to a pool and hot tub area, which also features a poolside deck and an outdoor shower—elements that reinforce the property’s resort-like sensibility.
Though the setting feels secluded, the home is located just two minutes from Sunset Boulevard and approximately 10 minutes from Santa Monica, offering a rare balance between privacy and accessibility. “It feels totally tucked away in nature,” Buss said, “yet you’re incredibly close to everything,” he added when speaking with californialuxuryhouses.

An Additional Parcel, Offered Separately
Beyond the pool area lies a separate 1.7-acre parcel of land, which is being offered for sale independently at $6.35 million. Combined, the two lots total more than two acres, an increasingly rare footprint in Pacific Palisades.
The secondary parcel, which the current owners have used as an extension of the property’s outdoor space, is buildable, according to the listing. While parts of the lot are hillside, several sections are relatively flat—an unusual feature in this part of Los Angeles.
“It’s essentially your own private park,” Buss said. “Opportunities like this don’t come along often,” he told californialuxuryhouses. Records indicate that Shields never owned the additional lot, and the timing of its acquisition by the current owners could not be independently verified.

Community, Lifestyle, and Daily Convenience
Pacific Palisades is prized for its village-like atmosphere, access to nature, and proximity to some of Southern California’s most desirable amenities. Residents enjoy easy access to Palisades Village, a high-end retail and dining destination anchored by boutiques, cafes, and chef-driven restaurants.
The neighborhood is also well-positioned for outdoor enthusiasts, with nearby access to Temescal Canyon, Will Rogers State Historic Park, and the beaches of Santa Monica and Malibu. Major employment hubs in West Los Angeles, Beverly Hills, and Century City are within a manageable commute, adding to the area’s long-standing appeal among executives, creatives, and entertainment industry figures.

A Discreet Offering With Enduring Appeal
While the identity of the homeowner remains largely private, Buss emphasized that the residence was never conceived as a speculative investment. “The owner is a successful professional who put a great deal of care into maintaining the home as a personal retreat,” Buss said. “It was always about creating a sanctuary,” he noted in remarks shared with californialuxuryhouses.
As celebrity-owned homes continue to command attention in Los Angeles’ luxury market, this Pacific Palisades property stands out not for excess, but for authenticity—an increasingly rare quality in a city known for reinvention.
