Look back at Ricky Bobby’s Former Mansion in North Carolina

The home made famous by the 2006 Will Ferrell comedy “Talladega Nights”, it was sold on October 2023 for $6,750,000 in Cornelius, North Carolina. Previously, in 2017, Ricky Bobby purchased the property for $4 million.

The 12,042-square-foot home has three floors and an elevator. The property’s owners recently renovated the property and the inside looks totally different from the movie, but a few recognizable spots remain, including the stone fireplace where Ricky Bobby delivered his famous prayer.

Some features include an entertainment area equipped with a full bar, dart board and projector screen. Behind the home is a new infinity pool and hot tub, as well as two docks and a boat lift.

Tracy Davis, of Ivester Jackson Distinctive Properties and Christie’s International Real Estate, is currently listing the mansion.

Standing on 1.3 acres, the home was built in 2002.

The exclusive property also features a private beach, a small putting green, a sports court, and an “oasis featuring resort-style pool.”

Included in the home is a massive entertainment center, a four-plus car garage, and a balcony with a fireplace.

The large mansion even has a section dedicated to fitness, filled with exercise equipment and offering a beautiful view.

A cozy niche in one of the rooms is designed for children.

Windows are abundant in the mansion, offering stunning views and ample natural lighting throughout the house.

The open kitchen connects to a lounge area, multiple rooms, and one of several dining areas.
