After over four decades of ownership, Roger Taylor, the 74-year-old drummer and backup vocalist of Queen, is ready to part ways with his Spanish-style villa in the Hollywood Hills. Acquired for just $352,000 in the early 1980s, the home is sold for nearly $6.2 million. Tucked behind gated driveways and lush hedges on one-third acre of land, the white stucco and brick-accented villa features a terra-cotta roof and includes a motorcourt with an attached two-car garage.
Inside, the meticulously restored and well-maintained residence spans over 4,300 square feet across two levels. The entry foyer boasts a striking mosaic-lined staircase leading to a formal living room with a vaulted ceiling, black marble fireplace, and French doors opening to a brick terrace with an al fresco dining area and fire pit. A cozy den with a stone fireplace and wine closet adds a lodge-like charm, while a dining room connects to an all-white kitchen equipped with an eat-in island and high-end appliances.
Upstairs, the master retreat offers a fireplace, private balcony, walk-in closet, and a spa-inspired bath with dual vanities, a freestanding soaking tub, and a large steam shower. Recently, Taylor and Queen frontman Adam Lambert launched the LGBTQ+ club Wild New Bar in West Hollywood.
