Kenny Rogers’s chateau-style mansion in Georgia is now on the market for $2.5 million

Just over four years after his passing, Kenny Rogers’s final home is now on the market for nearly $2.5 million. The Grammy-winning country singer moved into this luxurious French Country-style mansion in Sandy Springs, a suburb of Atlanta, shortly before his death in March 2020, to be closer to his medical team. The listing is represented by Thom McCorkle of Ansley Real Estate Christie’s International.

Rogers’s widow, Wanda Rogers-Webb, purchased the property in October 2019 for $1.7 million and made several renovations, including a custom-built elevator to help him navigate the multi-story home. The residence boasts six bedrooms and six bathrooms, set on a half-acre cul-de-sac lot, featuring a tiered fountain surrounded by manicured hedges. The grand entry foyer, with marble floors and a sweeping staircase, leads to an office where Rogers kept his music awards.

Highlights of the home include formal living and dining rooms, a gourmet kitchen with high-end appliances, a butler’s pantry, and a cozy breakfast nook. The family room has a fireplace, while the lavish primary suite features a private balcony and an opulent bathroom with a wet bar and soaking tub. The lower level offers a movie theater, climate-controlled wine cellar, and game room with a kitchenette. The private backyard includes a covered loggia and a waterfall-fed pool and spa, as well as a three-car garage.

The living room has a custom elevator alongside a decorative stone fireplace.

Wanda is selling the home because she has remarried and is relocating, calling the decision bittersweet. Rogers, who sold over 100 records during his career, is known for hits like “Lucille,” “The Gambler,” and “Islands in the Stream.” He received three Grammy Awards and was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame in 2013.

There’s also a window-lined breakfast nook.
