J.Lo and Chris Judd’s Southern California wedding home is now on the market for $7.2 million

Over two decades have passed since Jennifer Lopez and Cris Judd met on the set of her Love Don’t Cost a Thing music video and subsequently married in a “secret” ceremony at a private residence in Calabasas, Los Angeles, attended by 170 guests. Although their marriage ended a few months later due to irreconcilable differences, the French chateau-inspired mansion where the wedding took place is still standing and has just hit the market with a price tag of $7.25 million.

The French chateau-inspired residence spans 11,000 square feet.

Located within the exclusive Cold Creek Estates enclave, this four-story mansion sits on over 10 acres and offers expansive canyon and mountain views. Custom-built in the late 1990s, the home features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, and more than 11,000 square feet of multi-level living space, complete with an elevator, hand-distressed white oak floors, high wood-beam ceilings, and French-imported hardware.

The grand entry foyer boasts an ornate chandelier and a curving floating staircase leading to a glass-walled conservatory overlooking the gardens. Additional amenities include a subterranean wine cellar and tasting room, a media/poker room, a sauna-equipped gym, a rooftop observatory, a one-bedroom guest cottage, and a four-car garage.

Noteworthy features include a fireside living room, a formal dining room, a handsome library, and a family room with a bar. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with marble countertops, an eat-in island, La Cornue and Sub-Zero appliances, and a separate breakfast room. An adjoining den has a stone fireplace and built-in bookshelves, while the luxurious upstairs primary suite includes three fireplaces, a seating area, a private balcony, two walk-in closets, and a bath with dual vanities and a spa tub.

The picturesque grounds are equally impressive, featuring gardens, meandering pathways, an infinity-edge pool with a waterfall, a covered pavilion with a barbecue station and fireplace, a vine-covered gazebo, a koi pond, a greenhouse, and a citrus orchard.

The listing is handled by Jeff Biebuyck and Dana Olmes of the Frontgate Team at Compass. This sale comes shortly after Lopez filed for divorce from Ben Affleck, following just over two years of marriage. While Lopez’s Beverly Hills marital home is also on the market for $68 million, she has been seen at her $10 million Hamptons estate and is currently looking for a new place in Los Angeles. Meanwhile, Affleck has purchased a Cliff May-designed equestrian property in Brentwood for $20.5 million.
