A New Beginning in Glen Head
In 2022, Joe and Bessy Gatto embarked on a fresh chapter with the purchase of a spacious residence in Glen Head, New York. This thoughtfully chosen home became more than just a place to live—it became a sanctuary for their evolving family life.
Blending privacy with open-concept living, the property was designed with their two children, Milana and Remington, in mind—as well as the beloved pets that are a central part of the Gatto household.
The home’s modern design prioritizes comfort and connection, offering generous spaces that invite moments of bonding and relaxation. Floor-to-ceiling windows flood the interior with natural light, bringing warmth and a sense of calm to the family’s daily life.
Outdoors, the expansive grounds offer both room to play and quiet corners for retreat, making it the perfect backdrop for both energetic afternoons and peaceful evenings.
Above all, this Glen Head home stands as a reflection of Joe and Bessy’s enduring commitment to family, healing, and growth—a space where love, laughter, and renewal continue to flourish.

Roots in Lynbrook
Before making Glen Head their home, Joe and Bessy Gatto built the foundation of their family life in the lively town of Lynbrook, New York. It was in this charming suburban setting that their journey as a young couple truly began.
When they first moved into the Lynbrook residence, it was just the two of them and their two playful puppies. But over time, that cozy home witnessed the arrival of their two children—and a growing pack of four furry companions.
As their family blossomed, so did their need for space and function. The Lynbrook home adapted beautifully, with rooms tailored to the needs of a young, expanding household. It became a place filled with milestones, memories, and meaningful firsts—a true launching pad for the life they continue to build today.

Lynbrook became a special place for the Gattos, with a supportive community that contributed to the family’s sense of belonging.
Joe expressed his appreciation for the neighborhood, sharing his fond memories of the area and its people before their move to Glen Head.
Their time in Lynbrook will always hold sentimental value, as it marked a significant chapter in their lives.
A Journey of Separation and Reconciliation
In December 2021, Joe and Bessy Gatto made the decision to part ways after eight years of marriage.
The announcement came as a surprise to many, but the couple made it clear that their separation was amicable.
Joe explained in his Instagram post that personal issues had led to the decision, and both he and Bessy were focused on being the best parents for their two children, Milana and Remington.
The news also coincided with Joe’s departure from Impractical Jokers, a show he had co-founded and been part of for over a decade.

Joe Gatto’s Comedy Legacy
Joe Gatto rose to fame as a founding member of Impractical Jokers, the hit hidden-camera comedy series he co-created in 2011.
The show, celebrated for its outrageous dares and spontaneous humor, quickly captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Gatto’s fearless comedic style and infectious energy made him an instant fan favorite, elevating the show from a cult hit to a full-fledged pop culture staple.
Alongside fellow creators James “Murr” Murray, Brian “Q” Quinn, and Sal Vulcano, Joe helped shape a comedy brand built on friendship, laughter, and pushing boundaries—all while keeping the humor genuine and heartfelt. Their dynamic camaraderie earned them a devoted global following and a place in the modern comedy canon.

Before Impractical Jokers, Joe was a member of The Tenderloins, a comedy troupe he co-founded in 1999.
The group performed live sketch comedy and improv, which later served as the foundation for their television success.
Joe’s quick wit and improvisational skills became key elements of the show, setting Impractical Jokers apart from other reality or prank-based series.
The show ran for many successful seasons, leading to spin-offs, merchandise, and even a feature film, Impractical Jokers: The Movie (2020).
