Ann Wilson, the lead singer and songwriter of the rock band Heart, has listed her Florida vacation retreat for $2 million. Wilson, known for 1970s hits like “Crazy on You,” “Magic Man,” and “Barracuda,” purchased the property in Palatka in 2019 for $885,000. The retreat spans 12.48 acres and features 510 feet of waterfront, surrounded by century-old oak and magnolia trees.

The infinity-edge pool blends the property with the landscape.

According to listing agents Kim Martin-Fisher and Jennifer Martin Faulkner of Douglas Elliman Florida, the property offers a peaceful and inspiring environment. Martin Faulkner noted, “There’s a circular drive between the main house and the guest house, and stepping out into the lush landscaping feels like being on an island.”

The property has a private dock.

The main house, measuring 4,084 square feet, includes three bedrooms, 2.5 baths, two wood-burning fireplaces, and a library with floor-to-ceiling bookshelves. There are also porches with views of the infinity pool, spa, and lanai. The guest house, dating back to the 1900s, has been updated and features four bedrooms, two bathrooms, and an elevator.

The guest house kitchen has a wine fridge in the island.

Additional amenities include a 1,159-square-foot workshop, a 980-square-foot RV port, and a private dock. Wilson renovated both houses extensively, adding the swimming pool and making other updates.

In the main house, the kitchen has a food-prep island.

Palatka, located 30 minutes from Daytona Beach and St. Augustine, is described as a charming small town with a cute downtown and a strong working-class community known for its potato farms.

The guest house, which has been updated with an elevator, dates to the 1900s.

At 74, Wilson co-founded Heart in the 1970s with her sister Nancy Wilson. The band, one of the first female-fronted rock groups, has sold over 35 million albums and was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2013. The band’s 2024 tour was canceled due to Wilson’s cancer diagnosis, but they recently announced concert dates for 2025. Wilson could not be reached for comment.

The porch of the main house extends the structure through the scenery.
