According to public records, a Los Angeles residence previously owned by British pop star Harry Styles was sold on Thursday for $6.77 million. The 4,401-square-foot home, situated in the Hollywood Hills just above the Sunset Strip, was bought by the 29-year-old “Watermelon Sugar” singer in 2016 for $6.87 million through a limited liability company associated with his business manager in the U.K., as per PropertyShark records.
The former home of Harry Styles has sold for $6.77 million.
Records indicate that the former member of the boy band One Direction sold it for $6 million in 2019. The purchaser was an LLC associated with tech entrepreneur Patrick Y. Grove, the CEO of Catcha Group, one of Southeast Asia’s most established internet conglomerates. Requests for comments from representatives of Grove were not immediately answered.
The property, in the Hollywood Hills, has an open floor plan and far-reaching views.
Constructed in 1946, the contemporary residence boasts an open layout and outdoor space on each level, as well as panoramic views of the city and the ocean. These details are according to the listing provided by Emma Hernan of The Oppenheim Group. Hernan, a regular presence on Netflix’s real estate reality show “Selling Sunset,” showcased the property on the series earlier this year.
Styles sold the proeprty in 2019.
“This exceptional, ultra-private, and distinctive property is embarking on its next journey,” stated Hernan in an email. “It epitomizes the essence of a Hollywood Hills residence, perched just above the renowned Sunset Strip.”
There are four bedrooms.
The listing describes the living room as having retractable glass walls that lead to a lush terrace, while the main floor boasts a chef’s kitchen complete with an island, gray stone countertops, and white cabinetry.
The house spans roughly 4,400 square feet.
Featuring four bedroom suites, the primary bedroom offers “awe-inspiring panoramic views” from its private balcony, a spacious walk-in closet, and a bathroom equipped with dual sinks, an infinity-edge tub, and a walk-in shower with city vistas, as detailed in the listing.
Additional features comprise a home theater, gym, office, and an extra private terrace.
Outside, there lies a kidney-shaped pool, a hot tub, and a cabana with a seating area and bar, as detailed in the listing. Furthermore, a two-car garage is available.
Initially listed in October for $7.95 million, the price was subsequently reduced to $7.245 million in January, according to listing records. The property attracted a buyer in late July, and the transaction was finalized on Thursday. Mansion Global was unable to ascertain the identity of the buyer.
