Situated in Hidden Hills, a prestigious neighborhood renowned for its celebrity residents like the Kardashians and Madonna, the estate spans approximately 10,000 square feet. Records indicate that Ramsey acquired the property for around $9.5 million in 2020 from Howie Mandel, the host of “America’s Got Talent,” who initially built it as an investment property.

Originally from Tennessee, Ramsey began searching for a residence in Los Angeles following his trade to the Rams from the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2019. He chose Hidden Hills partly due to its proximity to the Rams’ training facility in Thousand Oaks, citing his aversion to L.A. traffic and dislike for extensive driving. Ramsey disclosed that he maintains a digital list of features he desires in his ideal home, and this property met approximately 90% of his criteria.

The main house, designed in the Modern Farmhouse style and occupying approximately an acre of land, encompasses three levels and boasts six bedrooms, according to Mintz. The property includes a range of amenities such as a movie theater, bar, wine room, gym, sauna, and basketball court. Additionally, the grounds feature a pool, guesthouse, and a built-in barbecue area.

After acquiring the residence, Ramsey mentioned that he constructed the guesthouse, extended the driveway, and revamped the landscaping. He explained that much of the garden was originally on a hillside, prompting him to level it and introduce lounging and play areas for his three young daughters.

Ramsey described the home as ideal for quarantine during the pandemic due to its amenities, which minimized the need to venture outside. He highlighted activities such as playing basketball with friends, swimming, and using the sauna within the compound. Even in ordinary times, Ramsey expressed difficulty in public outings due to his fame, stating, “Sometimes, when you’re in a position like mine, you can’t always go everywhere.”

Despite finding it challenging to part with the house, Ramsey deemed it impractical to retain it as he anticipates spending the majority of his time in Miami for the next few years. He disclosed that he’s been actively searching for a residence in Miami but constantly compares the available options to his L.A. home. Ramsey admitted, “If I felt like I was gonna be continuing to come to California often, then I would probably just hang on to it, honestly, because I love the home.”
