Stunning aerial photos reveal Elon Musk’s sprawling $85 million compound in Los Angeles, showcasing two homes now on the market after the Tesla CEO vowed to sell his physical assets.
Over the past seven years, Musk has built a mini real estate empire in the celebrity enclave of Bel Air, acquiring six properties within walking distance of each other. Ranging in value from $3.2 million to $30 million, these homes are situated on two adjacent streets, sparking rumors at one point of Musk planning to build a connective tunnel system beneath them. However, Musk is now making moves to disband the property cluster. The eccentric entrepreneur, worth more than $38 billion according to Forbes, indicated his intention to put the homes on the market in a bizarre Twitter rant on Friday, stating, “I am selling almost all physical possessions. Will own no home.”
Musk purchased the home at 10947 Chalon Road in July 2015 for $20 million. Its current estimated worth is $10.7 million.

Last week, the Tesla CEO announced his intention to sell ‘almost all’ of his physical possessions in a bizarre Twitter rant, declaring, “Will own no home.”
This home at 10930 Chalon Road, previously owned by Gene Wilder, is also now for sale for $9.5 million.
Musk put this home at 10924 Chalon Road on the market for $30 million on Monday, just two days after his Twitter rant.

The 16,251 square foot mansion features six bedrooms, 11 bathrooms, a two-story library, swimming pool, and a tennis court.
Musk also revealed that his girlfriend, the musician Grimes, is set to give birth on Monday. The couple is seen above in New York City in May 2018.
“I think the people are going to be very angry about this and are very angry,” Musk said as he went off track in the call about earnings.
“It’s like somebody should be, if somebody wants to stay in the house that’s great, they should be allowed to stay in the house and they should not be compelled to leave.
“To say that they cannot leave their house and they will be arrested if they do, this is fascist. This is not democratic, this is not freedom. Give people back their goddamn freedom!”
