NFL wide receiver Davante Adams was traded from the Las Vegas Raiders to the New York Jets on Tuesday, prompting his search for a new home near MetLife Stadium.

It will offer more than 13,000 square feet of living space.
The Tudor-style home was built in 1910.

Adams is leaving behind an ultra-modern mansion in Las Vegas that he purchased in 2022 for $11.4 million after signing a five-year, $140 million contract with the Raiders. This 10,600-square-foot home boasts floor-to-ceiling windows and amenities such as a theater/game room and a backyard featuring a pool, outdoor kitchen, and several lounging areas. If he wants to maintain that sleek, contemporary style on the East Coast, here are three New Jersey properties he might consider.

The sleek mansion spans 16,000 square feet.

One option is a spacious Englewood mansion, listed at approximately $13.9 million, which offers about 16,000 square feet, six bedrooms, and eight and a half bathrooms—larger than his Vegas home, which may be appealing as he and his wife, Devanne, are expecting their third child. This “brand-new” home features a two-story living green wall, a four-season loggia with a fireplace, and an infinity pool, according to listing agent Taylor Lucyk of Christie’s International Real Estate. Additionally, it includes smart-home technology, a home theater, and a gym—essential for a professional athlete.

Despite its historic exterior, the interiors are modern.

Adams’s trade to New York also reunites him with former Green Bay Packers teammate Aaron Rodgers. After joining the Jets last year, Rodgers purchased an eight-bedroom home near Montclair and Cedar Grove for $9.5 million. If Adams wants to be neighbors with Rodgers, he could consider a historic manor listed for $8.5 million, located less than four miles away. Although its Tudor-style exterior may differ from Adams’s aesthetic, the interiors were completely renovated in 2020 to offer contemporary living spaces, featuring a floating staircase, custom light fixtures, and an indoor pool, as noted by listing agent Sam Joseph of Prominent Properties Sotheby’s International Realty. The property includes a six-bedroom main house and a fully renovated two-bedroom carriage house, along with an outdoor pool.

The contemporary interiors include a living green wall.

Lastly, Adams might consider a white-limestone mansion in Alpine, which is expected to be completed in early 2025. Listed for $15.25 million, this home combines a modern manor exterior with a luxurious contemporary interior. Spanning over 13,000 square feet, it offers eight bedrooms and 12 bathrooms, including a primary suite with two “spa-like” bathrooms. Amenities include a home theater, gym, billiards room with a bar, and a pool, making it a potential long-term home as Adams’s contract runs through the 2026 season.

The limestone mansion will be completed next year.
