Tennis star Caroline Wozniacki and her husband, former New York Knicks player David Lee, have put their Miami-area penthouse up for sale at $42.5 million. According to records, the couple bought this condo unit at Palazzo Del Sol on Fisher Island for $18.7 million in June 2021. Prior to this, they had owned a lower-floor unit, which they sold earlier in the same year for $16.25 million.
Caroline Wozniacki and David Lee are listing a Miami-area penthouse with a private rooftop pool for $42.5 million.
According to Dina Goldentayer, the listing agent from Douglas Elliman, the five-bedroom penthouse spans approximately 7,000 square feet of interior space along with two terraces. Goldentayer mentioned that the unit was initially purchased as unfinished space, and the couple undertook an extensive renovation without budget constraints, incorporating luxurious features such as white-oak floors and a custom bar with views of Biscayne Bay. Additionally, one of the terraces boasts a fire pit and hot tub, while the rooftop hosts a private pool and summer kitchen.

Wozniacki and Lee were unavailable for comment, and Goldentayer stated she is unaware of the reason behind their decision to sell.
Originally from Denmark, Wozniacki has held the top spot in tennis rankings multiple times throughout her career, clinching a Grand Slam victory in 2018. After retiring from professional tennis in 2020, she returned to the tour this year. Lee, hailing from St. Louis, played for the New York Knicks and the Golden State Warriors before ending his professional basketball career in 2017. The couple tied the knot in 2019 and now have two children.

According to Goldentayer, the asking price for the penthouse aligns with recent developments on Fisher Island. A penthouse at the Residences at Six Fisher Island, which was listed for $90 million, is reportedly under contract, as per the developer’s statement.

Goldentayer also noted the thriving ultra high-end market in Miami, mentioning that she finds it easier to sell units priced between $30 million and $50 million. She emphasized the scarcity of inventory at the top end of the market, stating that when a property meets the criteria—such as ample space and panoramic ocean views—buyers recognize its value and move quickly to secure it.
