Andy Cohen, the mastermind behind the Real Housewives franchise and recently hailed as the “king of reality TV” by the Los Angeles Times, is putting one of his trophy homes on the market. His vibrant Manhattan duplex, located in a coveted Bing & Bing Bros. building in New York’s West Village, will soon be listed for $14 million with Ryan Serhant of SERHANT.
This pre-war duplex spans nearly 3,500 square feet and combines four units, which have been expertly renovated by interior designer Eric Hughes and architect Gordon Kahn. Cohen first purchased a single unit at the Horatio Street address in 2003 and subsequently acquired additional units across two floors between 2014 and 2021. The highest price he paid for a unit was $2.5 million in April 2014, according to property records.
The residence features three bedrooms, four bathrooms, and an additional powder room. Its two fireplaces and 25 windows provide ample natural light and stunning skyline views. The home’s cheerful atmosphere reflects Cohen’s playful style, with vibrant colors, patterns, and whimsical touches throughout. Notably, Cohen’s second-floor office, dubbed “the Clubhouse,” boasts a gold disco ball above a walnut, steel, and glass staircase. Highlights include a bold, lipstick-red powder room with a vanity, and a cocktail bar adorned with silver leaf and ample space for spirits.
Cohen’s primary suite offers a more subdued palette with gray walls, a funky purple rug, and an oversized olive-green and red plaid bed. The en-suite bath features dual sinks, a large soaking tub, and a separate shower with dark blue tiles.
Cohen’s decision to sell comes after more than two decades in the duplex, likely due to his recent completion of renovations on a spacious West Village penthouse he purchased in 2022 for $18.2 million. He also owns a custom-built oceanfront retreat in the Hamptons.
