Dave Hagewood, the founder of Psyonix, known for the hit game “Rocket League,” has traded his sailing adventures for a permanent residence in Los Angeles. Recent records indicate that he and his wife, Danielle, purchased a luxurious mansion in Brentwood for $11.5 million, down from its original listing price of $13 million.

The living room sports an eye-catching fireplace and Fleetwood doors spilling outside.
A movie theater with stadium seating also can be found on the bottom floor.

Constructed in 2019 by developer Ramtin Ray Nosrati, the home boasts 6 bedrooms and 9 bathrooms within 9,300 square feet of elegantly designed space featuring custom light fixtures, smart-home technology, and numerous fireplaces. Nestled in a secluded cul-de-sac on over a third of an acre, the modern three-story property is accessed through gates and high hedges.

A curving floating staircase descends to a lower-level entertainment space with a back-lit onyx bar and 1,000-bottle wine cellar.

Key highlights of the mansion include a stunning living room with a marble fireplace, Fleetwood doors opening to a terrace, and a waterfall-clad dining area. The gourmet kitchen is equipped with Italian cabinetry and top-tier Miele appliances. The master suite offers a custom fireplace, wraparound balcony, and a spa-like bathroom.

An upstairs primary bedroom flows out to a wrapraround balcony.

The lower level is designed for entertainment, featuring a four-TV video wall, an onyx bar, a gym, and a movie theater. Outdoors, residents can enjoy an infinity-edge pool, spa, and rooftop deck with a bar and fire pit.

A roof deck with a fire-pit, bar and jetliner views tops off the home’s offerings.

In addition to this purchase, Hagewood recently acquired a 184-foot Benetti superyacht valued at $25 million and still owns a Mediterranean-style villa in San Diego, bought for $2.7 million in 2020. The mansion was listed by The Agency and Douglas Elliman.
