Jim Demetriades, the founder and CEO of Kairos Ventures, has owned his larger property in the Beverly Hills Post Office area since 2000. He and his then-new wife Nancy paid $8.4 million for a single house and gradually developed it into a gated compound with red brick and stucco structures. Abdul-Jabbar lived there until the summer of 2001, when he sold it for $500,000 more than his purchase price.
