According to a knowledgeable source, pop star Joe Jonas and his wife, actress Sophie Turner, have sold their Miami mansion for $15 million. The waterfront property, situated in the Bay Point gated community, was listed for $16.995 million in November 2022, as reported by The Wall Street Journal. Records indicate that Jonas and Turner purchased the house for $11 million in 2021. Despite attempts to contact the couple, they were unavailable for comment. Jonas, a member of the Jonas Brothers band alongside his brothers Nick and Kevin Jonas, and Turner, renowned for her portrayal of Sansa Stark on the HBO series “Game of Thrones,” remain prominent figures. The identity of the purchaser has yet to be disclosed.

The house is located in the Bay Point area.

The six-bedroom estate, situated on approximately half an acre, functioned as the couple’s primary residence. It boasts nearly 100 feet of canal frontage leading into Biscayne Bay. Constructed around 1980, the main house spans 10,500 square feet and underwent a redesign by interior designer Sarah Ivory, giving it a tropical ambiance characterized by coral-rock walls, wood-beam ceilings, meandering glass staircases, and indoor water features.

Among its features, the living room showcases a two-sided travertine fireplace, while the billiards room houses a two-story library. Outside, there are two swimming pools—one for adults and another for children—alongside a 94-foot dock and a hot tub. Additional amenities include a sauna, gym, and a wine room.

Carl Gambino of Compass, who is married to Ivory, listed the property, while the buyer was represented by David Pullman of One Sotheby’s International Realty.

Luxury sales in the Miami metro area have witnessed a considerable slowdown since the peak of the Covid era. According to a recent Redfin report, there was a 40.14% year-over-year decrease in luxury transaction volume for the three months ending June 30.
